He has not played a single match for the Jharkhand senior team but did impress while playing for the U-19 side and also went on a tour of UK with Mumbai Indians earlier this year. "He is a good hitter of the ball and in 2021 he scored three centuries in five matches for Jharkhand U19. He also played in Col C K Nayudu Trophy last year and was part of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy squad this season but sadly he couldn't play after he fell ill because of typhoid," said Chanchal Bhattacharya, one of the childhood coaches of MS Dhoni, to TOI.
