Robin Minz was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs. 3.6 crore.

Robin Minz who stole the limelight late in the evening at December 23 when he was bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs. 3.6 crore.

In the auction robin Minz, a wicketkeeper and a left-hand batter from Gumla, which took everyone by surprise. The moment he was picked up after a bidding war between Mumbai Indian and Chennai Super Kings and then finally Gujrat Titans

He has not played a single match for the Jharkhand senior team but did impress while playing for the U-19 side and also went on a tour of UK with Mumbai Indians earlier this year. "He is a good hitter of the ball and in 2021 he scored three centuries in five matches for Jharkhand U19. He also played in Col C K Nayudu Trophy last year and was part of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy squad this season but sadly he couldn't play after he fell ill because of typhoid," said Chanchal Bhattacharya, one of the childhood coaches of MS Dhoni, to TOI.

Robin minz Son of a retired army man working now as a security guard at Ranchi airport,  however,Robin minz  is part of Jharkhand's Ranji Trophy camp this time around and with IPL just a few months away, one can hope to see him make his debut and get ready for the T20 meet.
